The EMSA project brought together participants from Europe and the Southern Mediterranean in a shared learning journey focused on developing entrepreneurial mindsets, strengthening key skills, and fostering cross-cultural collaboration. Through interactive training activities, dialogue, and practical experiences, participants engaged with new ideas, built confidence, and expanded their perspectives. Among the Jordanian participants were Haitham, Malak, and Mohammad, each returning with a unique personal story shaped by the learning environment, the people they connected with, and the meaningful exchanges that took place throughout the project. Their reflections highlight growth, empowerment, and a deeper understanding of entrepreneurship and employability, demonstrating the positive impact of EMSA on both individual development and community engagement.

“The EntreComp sessions completely transformed the way I approach ideas and projects. They taught me not only how to turn concepts into action by effectively using available resources, but also how to collaborate, solve problems creatively, and lead with confidence. This experience has inspired me to embrace challenges, take bold steps, and believe in my potential to make a tangible impact in my community and beyond. I now feel empowered to turn innovative ideas into real solutions that can truly make a difference.”
Haitham Mlahes, 4th-year medical student and entrepreneur

“The EMSA project was a truly rich and inspiring experience. It not only gave me practical tools and direct support to develop my entrepreneurial ideas, but also opened doors to valuable connections with like-minded peers and mentors from across the region. The project challenged me to think creatively, act decisively, and push beyond my comfort zone. It strengthened my confidence, broadened my perspective, and inspired me to pursue initiatives that can create real, positive change. I would highly recommend it to anyone eager to grow, make meaningful contributions, and maximize their impact.”

“Mohammad Alostath, a participant in the 15th EntreComp training, described the breakout rooms as one of the most transformative parts of the program. He explained that these smaller, focused sessions created a safe and dynamic space for open discussion, allowing participants to exchange ideas, challenge each other’s thinking, and learn from diverse perspectives. They not only encouraged peer-to-peer learning but also helped him and others gain confidence in presenting their ideas, collaborating creatively, and taking initiative—skills he believes will have a lasting impact on his entrepreneurial journey.”
