In our ongoing commitment to enhancing mediation skills for youth operators working with migrant populations, we are excited to introduce the brand-new training manual developed collaboratively by our esteemed project partners. This manual represents a significant milestone in our efforts to equip youth workers with innovative non-formal education strategies, comprehensive methodologies, and practical guidelines essential for supporting young migrants effectively.
The training manual covers a range of topics—from the core principles of mediation and conflict resolution to advanced techniques in public speaking, digital storytelling, and workshop facilitation. Each section is designed to address the unique challenges faced by youth workers, providing adaptable frameworks and concrete examples that can be tailored to meet diverse local needs. Its content not only reflects the deep expertise of our international consortium but also the practical insights gained through hands-on training and field experience.
This publication is a direct outcome of our collaborative efforts over the past months and demonstrates the power of international partnership in building capacity and fostering social inclusion. In June, we will be hosting a special session where this article and the complete training manual will be formally presented to participants from all partner countries in the Devamigra project. During this event, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the manual in detail, participate in interactive discussions, and share feedback that will shape future iterations of our training approaches.
We believe that the introduction of this training manual marks an important step forward in our mission to empower youth workers and facilitate the successful integration and skill development of young migrants. We look forward to the constructive dialogue and exchange of experiences that will follow, setting the stage for ongoing innovation and excellence in the field.
