1. To Report a Crime: Contact the Official Authorities
For immediate and official action, especially in cases of threats, incitement to violence, defamation, or other serious offenses, you must contact the designated authorities.
Primary Contact: The Cyber Crime Unit (CCU)
Mandate: The official state body responsible for investigating crimes committed in cyberspace, in accordance with Jordanian law.
How to Report:
Visit: Your local police station and ask for the Cyber Crime Unit.
Online: Official channels via the Public Security Directorate (PSD) website or app.

2. To Seek Legal and Psychosocial Support: Utilize National and Local Services
You do not have to face this alone. Several established national institutions and civil society organizations offer support.
National Center for Human Rights (NCHR)
Role: Receives complaints about human rights violations, which can include systematic online hate speech and discrimination.

Role: Oversees and licenses numerous civil society organizations that provide psychosocial support, legal aid, and family guidance.

The Jordanian Legislation on Cyberspace:
Familiarize yourself with key laws that protect you, such as the Cybercrime Law. These laws criminalize acts like slander, threat, and incitement to hatred and sectarianism.
Media and Information Literacy Initiatives:
The Kingdom, through entities like the Audio-Visual Commission and the Ministry of Education, promotes programs to enhance critical thinking and digital literacy among citizens, helping them identify and counter harmful content.
