Title: “RootED” – Rural Opportunities and Outreach for Tomorrow
Location: Spain, Serbia, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, and Tunisia.
Donor: European Union.
At a time when youth unemployment and rural depopulation are rising across the Mediterranean region, the RootED – Rural Opportunities and Outreach for Tomorrow project offers a forward-thinking solution that connects urban and rural youth through sustainable agritourism and entrepreneurship.
RootED brings together partners from Spain, Serbia, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, and Tunisia to empower young people aged 18–25 and youth workers with the skills, tools, and confidence to create sustainable business models rooted in agritourism.

The project will also develop key resources including:
By combining sustainability, digital transformation, and youth empowerment, RootED contributes to building resilient rural economies while equipping young people with practical, future-oriented skills.
This is not just a training project — it is a movement to reconnect youth with nature, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
Stay tuned for upcoming activities and opportunities to get involved.
