Apply Now: Establish a University Employability and Innovation Center under the EUSEEDS Project

The Jordan Youth Innovation Forum (JYIF), in collaboration with the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, is proud to support and fund the establishment of 20 University Employability and Innovation Centers across Jordan, Cyprus, Egypt,  Lebanon, and Palestine as part of the EUSEEDS Project (Enable, Upgrade, and Spread Employability, Entrepreneurship, and Digital Skills). 

These centers will serve as sustainable hubs to strengthen youth employability, entrepreneurship, and digital skills, empowering students, recent graduates, and local communities throughout the region. 

Each selected university will receive institutional support valued at approximately €100,000, covering equipment, training of trainers, educational modules, coaching, and networking opportunities. The centers will serve as sustainable hubs for enhancing youth employability, entrepreneurship, and digital competencies. 

These centers—located within university campuses, particularly in areas facing significant social challenges—will offer long-term services during and beyond the project period: 

• Internal university services: training programs in employability and digital skills, micro-certifications, and pre-incubation schemes for student entrepreneurship projects. 

• External community services: digital literacy and professionalization training delivered by students to support vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in their surrounding areas.

Eligibility Criteria:  

Applicant universities must: 

• Be officially accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in Jordan. 

• Demonstrate the capacity to allocate personnel and space to implement project activities. 

• Submit one official application, signed by the university’s highest authority (President or equivalent). 

Priority will be given to universities located in regions of high social importance, including those hosting vulnerable populations, affected by economic or social challenges, or serving disadvantaged communities.

Orientation Session for Interested Universities 

To support applicants in preparing strong and competitive proposals, JYIF will hold an online orientation session on Monday, 17/11/2025. The session will be conducted via Zoom at the following link

This session will guide universities through the application process, eligibility requirements, and selection criteria, helping interested institutions better understand the project’s objectives, and increase their chances of being selected.
