JYIF recently hosted an enlightening educational workshop as part of the “SafeBook For SafeYouth” project. The initiative is dedicated to cultivating a culture of safety among young individuals, with a sharp focus on five pivotal areas: peer violence, cyberbullying, substance abuse, discrimination, and mental health, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
During this dynamic workshop, participants embarked on a journey of creativity, crafting artistic expressions that resonated deeply with the project’s core themes. By immersing themselves in these activities, attendees not only deepened their understanding of the pertinent issues but also played an active role in spreading awareness and nurturing a culture of safety.
Our interactive session was a testament to the power of creativity in addressing youth safety concerns. Through the exploration of 20 impactful concept photos and 20 thought-provoking graphics, we delved into key areas like cyberbullying, peer pressure, and substance abuse. Together, we brainstormed innovative campaign ideas, laying the groundwork for a safer and healthier environment for our youth.
At the heart of our workshop were three core objectives:
As we reflect on the success of our workshop, we extend our gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm and commitment to creating a safer world for our youth. Together, we are paving the way for a brighter, safer future!
