The Transferring (Feet) Head Heart Hands Youth Methodology to (Middle) East (THYME) project is a dynamic of two-years initiative that is reshaping how young people engage with their communities and the wider world. Designed to cultivate a deep understanding of global citizenship, Thyme equips youth with the tools to positively impact their local environments and promote sustainable development.
Objective and Educational Approach
THEYME employs the innovative “Head, Heart, Hands” pedagogic approach, blending play, art, and thought to teach essential soft skills and foster a deeper understanding of global citizenship. The methodology’s holistic nature is aimed at enhancing both personal and communal well-being through education that values inclusivity, solidarity, and sustainability. The project will focus on active citizenship and ethics, as well as fostering the development of social and intercultural competencies, critical thinking, and media literacy. It will also raise awareness of the European Union context in the world.
THYME is committed to promoting equal opportunities and access, inclusion, and fairness across all its activities. To this end, the project has developed an Inclusion and Diversity Strategy to support a better outreach to participants from more diverse backgrounds, in particular those with fewer opportunities.
