Title: ‘EMSA’ – Entrepreneurial Mindset and Key Skills For All
Date: 2023 to 2025
Location: Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, and Palestine.
Donor: ERASMUS+
The EMSA project (Entrepreneurial Mindset and Key Skills for Third Countries) is a cross-border initiative that brings together partner organizations from Europe and the Southern Mediterranean with a shared objective: enhancing entrepreneurship education and vocational training systems through innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
The project focuses on the joint development, piloting, and validation of high-quality curricula and training materials aimed at strengthening key competencies and entrepreneurial mindsets among learners. Aligned with the European Reference Framework (ERF) and the ENTRECOMP framework, EMSA supports education and training providers in delivering relevant, future-oriented learning experiences that respond effectively to labor market needs.
Through transnational meetings, collaborative work packages, and capacity-building activities, the EMSA project promotes modern, learner-centered approaches and reinforces entrepreneurship as a key competence across different learning contexts. The project has now successfully entered the assessment phase, conducting certification-aligned evaluations for both the EntreComp and ERF competencies.
The EntreComp assessment, a 60-question digital exam developed from a 225-question bank, has been completed by 53 out of 66 participants. The ERF assessment, measuring transversal skills through 24 randomly selected questions, has seen its first 9 participants complete it successfully, with a further session scheduled for October 31. Both ISO 17024-certified assessments are administered online, marking a critical step toward formal skills validation.
By fostering strong cross-border partnerships, the project contributes to employability, sustainable development, and economic resilience in developing countries.
As part of the project’s communication and dissemination efforts, this press release highlights the ongoing assessment and certification phase. Readers are invited to access and read the full press release in the attached document below, where further project-related materials are also available.
