consisted of (66) standards distributed over (6) main domains and (10) sub-domains.
Evaluating (14) CPD programs for in-service teachers in different ranks using the assessment
tool.
Classification of (14) CPD programs for in-service teachers based on the results of the
evaluation into four levels: slight, medium, major and complete revamping of the program for
the purpose of updating or developing the programs as needed for implementation under Asas.
Determining the required modifications on (14) CPD programs for in-service teachers.
TOT for Asas Trainers
Preparing a TOT program to train Asas trainers on the Supportive Learning Environment
program.
Conducting the TOT training for (22) Asas trainers.
Updating the Supportive Learning Environment program assessment tools that will be used by
Asas trainers to evaluate the performance of the participants during the program workshops.
Conducting the MoE training teachers platform training for (22) Asas trainers.
Teachers' ranking system and CPD
Preparing a proposal that aims at linking the professional path of the teachers with the ranking
system for the second teachers rank only (First Teacher) specialized in Grades 1-3.
Meeting with the technical committee at the Ministry of Education (MoE) for presenting,
discussing and receiving feedback on the proposal from the committee.
Updating the proposal based on the feedback received from the technical committee of MoE.
Mapping the CPD mandatory and optional specialized training programs for the first three
grades for all ranks; a total of (20) programs to determine any duplication or unneeded
repetition among the programs horizontally (across one rank level) or vertically.
